COMMUNITY MINISTRY AWARENESS AND
INVOLVEMENT TEAM
The mission of the Bethlehem Baptist Church Community Ministry Awareness and Involvement Team is to:
1. Keep the pastor, staff and church membership aware of local community ministry needs.
2. Keep the pastor, staff and church membership informed of ministry involvement opportunities through existing ministries.
3. Keep the pastor, staff and church membership aware of ministry needs that should be addressed by Bethlehem Baptist Church 4. Recommend to the pastor, staff and church membership strategies for developing new ministry/evangelism ministries as needed.
The team will strive to be aware, awake, and involved in sharing God’s love in our local community.
The local ministries that Bethlehem partners with either through financial support and/or volunteer participation include: Life Change Counseling Center – Offers marriage and family counseling, addiction, recovery and relapse counseling, alcohol and drug assessments, and anger management counseling. Drugs - Not My Kid, Not My County – Education and prevention of substance abuse, especially Methamphetamines, in Habersham County - 706-348-8922
Sharing and Caring Place– Provides help with food, clothing, emergency heating assistance, utility needs, and emergency medical needs - 706-754-6420
